Books and Breads: Food plays an important part in many novels, and no food appears more important than the humble grain. From Tortilla Flat by John Steinbeck to the tarts and bannock in Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights, breads and bakery have played an important part in a surprising number of literary works. Join us for an evening exploring the ease with which you can put an herbed bread on the table ... and get some tasty (and yeasty) samples from a surprising number of literary classics.

In addition, you’ll go home with a loaf of bread to finish in your own oven. Cost includes the pan for your take-home dough.
