Amanda Chu, NWTC Sustainable Garden Manager
Agriculture has been a huge part of Wisconsin’s culture for ages, but the environmental effects can be widespread. NWTC’s Sustainable Agriculture degree program teaches how to change the agriculture landscape by using growing, harvesting and other practices that promote the health of the plants, the animals and the earth.
In this tour, we’ll visit NTWC’s Sustainable Garden (just past the Hobbit House on the western edge of the Garden) and get a peek into the techniques that are changing the face of agriculture.
