Wednesday July 13

5:30 PM  –  7:00 PM

Bobbie Webster, UWGB Natural Areas Ecologist

$5/Garden Member; $7/General Public

As we focus on habitats this summer, join Bobbie Webster, UW-Green Bay Natural Areas Ecologist, on a tour of the restoration of a 75 acre natural area around Wequiock Creek. Located just upstream of estuarine wetlands at the Point au Sable natural area, you’ll learn about the ecological and cultural significance of the Wequiock Creek Natural Area. View recently created wetland scrapes, newly installed pollinator plantings, and current woody invasive removal. Participants will be walking on some mowed field, long grass and mud; terrain can be uneven and steep.

This class takes place offsite. Please meet at the gravel parking lot at the end of Circle Ridge Road, Green Bay (just past the residence at 3840 Circle Ridge Road).
